If you try to cancel your auto renewal subscription you lose your privileges, even if you have it paid for a long period. And if you cancel on the actual date you still be charged. Sad to have such a bad experience with the company.

They renew your subscriptions with no notice. I request a refund immediately after being charged and was sent a song and dance about “transparent” policies but this is the type of company that markets one way and is different in practice. There is an abundance of better options out there who actually practice what they preach. DDP Yoga is one of them.

Be very careful how you pay for the subscription. They will renew you without your authorization year after year and there are no refunds. I contacted them several times and they don’t care about you, only your money.

I tried cancelling on the App Store but couldn’t find the subscription. Now I’ve just been billed again for a year and support won’t refund it even though the charge is still pending. App is okay but it’s annoying that I’m being forced to pay for something I rarely use for another whole year.

I didn’t use the app for a year, no one told me it is automatically renew, when I realized they charged me again I asked them to refund my money, and they say they cannot, that they we’re transparent about it They are not transparent, I didn’t use for more than a month and I paid the whole year Now they are renewing without my consent That is a way of taking advantage of the customers What a great app !!!!

As so many others have said, this app is deceptive with subscription/renewal. When contacted about the unauthorized charge, the response was that they wish they could do something about it, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The subscription automatically renews. Tried to cancel and it is impossible. Total scam and waste of money! Do not subscribe!!!

Once you sign up they make sure you cannot cancel and just jack up the cost of your subscription. This app is a scam. DO NOT SIGN UP! They are worse than a gym in that they won’t let you out of the contract.

I felt in live with yoga with this app. I got disciplined because of it and I loved it, but there's a big issue and is why maybe 2 or 3 years ago I cancelled my subscription to go to another app that could connect easily through airplay or firetv. I came back because I think the yoga focus exercises in Asana Rebel are superior, but there connection problem is a big issue for me. It does have the option but is so hard to connect, and when it finally does, it disconnects out of nothing. I know is the app because it doesn't happen with other apps that Im used to screen share. I just can't exercise by watching my phone as I used to do.

I love everything about it except the start of another workout after. It ruins savasana and the beginning of my next workout. Is there a way to go back to how it was before?

This company does not notify you prior to charging your account for automatic renewal. They also make it difficult for you to cancel your subscription. Admittedly, I failed to mark the annual subscription renewal on my calendar, which was my fault. However, I immediately immediately emailed them the day they charged my account account to request a refund, which they refused. I’m now out $120 for an app that I haven’t been using for many months due to various personal factors. Just be aware to mark your calendar so you don’t get a surprise in a year.

Wow! SCAM! I got this last year on a promotion and have been trying for months to cancel. No notification of renewal, no option to cancel and then an auto charge of $119 and they will not refund. Get Headspace. For a “yoga” app they ruin the spirit of yoga. This is a “for-profit” scam. Horrible customer service. They don’t even have a phone number. Update: did receive a refund after jumping through hoops….but thanks for the refund

You sign up for their discounted trial, forget about it after a week, and then a whole year later they charge you $120. THEY DO NOT EMAIL YOU BEFOREHAND.

My rating is based on the assistance I received when I requested a refund after I was charged $119 without an email or notification prior to the charge. I no longer had the application on my phone and had not used it. I emailed customer service about this and stated that I never received any notification that a large charge was about to take place for a subscription. I received a response that stated that because I did not cancel before the charge that they were not going to issue a refund. It’s unfortunate that no consideration was made for the situation or even a partial refund. Hopefully they consider my reply where I recommended that they send a notification to subscribers prior to charging that much. I would understand accepting the charge if I was using the app.

I did not want to renew my subscription after the trial and reached out when I saw a payment taken from my account. Customer service would not refund the payment even though I reached out immediately after the payment came out. This is poor customer service if you can’t refund a payment the day after for something I haven’t used.

Used app a few times. Not happy with it. Other apps like Zing fitness work much better. My subscription renewed for $120 without notice. When I tried to cancel and went to website, I saw their new plan is $36 per year. I tried to cancel to get my money back or at least that they charge me for the new rate, they don’t allow it. Not the way to treat customers.

BE CAREFUL!! This app will continue to charge you even if you cancel your subscription. They make it impossible to fully cancel and get a refund. BE WARNED!!

Scammed me out of money. I don’t recommend. There are much better apps with better customer service

This app is pretty cumbersome and hard to use not really worth the time it takes to even get into the working portions of the app because they bombard you with like 6-10 questions as soon as you open. Lastly they have extremely opaque and predatory practices around billing to trap clients into renewed subscription while you have the first year they will not notify you about your renewal date on either the app or via email. I used this app for maybe a week in early 2024 then buried it because it does not work well. When I saw the subscription hit my account prior to it even clearing notified their customer success team and asked them to cancel and pull my data (less than 2 hours on the app for a full year) which they refused to. Despite saying they have a 14 day cancellation policy they actually do not.

The app works fine, good workouts and meditations, but there is no notification of automatic renewal. I was charged $120 and the company would not refund me because my auto renewal was on. I cancelled the subscription and deleted the account, but they still wouldn’t refund me. This was frustrating because there was no notification sent that renewal was coming up, so I was taken completely off guard and no one would work with me. I’m now out $120, which this app is simply not worth in my opinion.

I’ve been using this app daily for the last 7 years and I love all the workouts, the music, ect. This app is a staple to my lifestyle and I love how you can download the apps for times you travel w/o WiFi. Thank you to the developers and teachers of this app! You’re amazing 🩷

I cancelled my subscription and was still charged. I haven't used this service since cancelling A YEAR AGO No one has helped me solve this matter. I am officially being ignored, and the only reasoning I am being given is that “I agreed to the charge with thw auto renewal”, but that would have been voided when I cancelled my subscription. Would really appreciate some further assistance with this situation. They do not seem to care about their users; just here for the money.

I really like the app, the workouts are great, but I have a hard time motivating myself to carve out time from my morning to do the 20 minutes workouts. If you could let me do the workouts while listening to my daily news podcasts it would be sooooo much better for me. Please update the app to allow mulitiple sound outputs

I’d give it no stars if I could! Purchased through apple, used for a while but didn’t like it. Canceled my subscription through apple subscriptions. Fast forward to a year later - they renewed their subscription with no renewal emails or warnings. Website says 14 days to cancel. Reached out and customer service said they won’t refund me because “their policy makes it clear they auto renew”. Watch out, they won’t stop charging you!!!

Do not forget about your subscription because they will not inform you of an upcoming renewal and you certainly will not receive a refund if you forget to cancel, even if you really never used the app. As someone who is not typically into yoga, I thought I would try the app at the promo price but never found it easy to find a beginner program to follow. I never even tried a workout for that reason. Pretty easy to see I was never a user and I requested my refund the day my subscription renewed (which I only knew about due to managing a different fraud alert for my card), but they basically told me “too bad.”

The company will not provide refunds even if legally required.

They will not send out an email to let you know app is about to renew. And they will not refund you even on the same day transaction is made. Received many other emails. There’s no place to cancel app in iCloud. Beware.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service at this company is absolutely terrible. They are rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. It was clear they had no interest in resolving my issue, and instead of offering solutions, they made excuses and acted like I was inconveniencing them. I was left with no resolution and a complete waste of my time and money. There was no benefit in using the application and they did not give me a heads up of a subscription renewal for an ENTIRE yr $120! I will never do business with them again and would strongly advise others to avoid this app unless you enjoy being ignored and treated poorly and robbed!

I was really excited to try this program but sadly even the intense workouts are next to nothing if you’re already moderately+ active.

Trash app. Used for 1 video and realized their videos have no value whatsoever—free youtube workouts are 20x better. Stopped using and 1 year later, charged $120 for a subscription I didn’t know I had. No emails, no listed subscription in my Apple Subscriptions tab. They make sure to hide the subscription on a web page, so it’s not seen by the app store. Credit card approved my dispute. These people are just taking money from busy people.

I recently discovered a $120 charge from Asana Rebel, despite never recalling signing up for their service. Not only did I never receive any notification that they would be charging me, but I also never used their platform—not even once. When I reached out to their customer support, they flat-out refused to issue a refund, even though I explained that I never knowingly subscribed and had no prior warning of the charge. This kind of unauthorized billing and lack of transparency is completely unacceptable. To protect myself from further unauthorized charges, I disputed the charge with my bank and had to order a new debit card. No legitimate company should operate in a way that forces customers to take these measures. Beware of Asana Rebel’s shady billing practices. If you’re considering subscribing, think twice and check your statements regularly. Their refusal to address unauthorized charges and lack of proactive communication makes them a company to avoid.

Do not get this unless you want to be charged $119 after you cancel your account! I asked for a refund, and they said that I never requested a cancellation, but it wasn’t on my Apple subscriptions. I’m disputing it with my credit card company now. Not only that, I originally paid $23.99 then it randomly charged me a year later for $119! Very poor service customer service too. Apple should kick them off of their app store.

Your subscription is managed outside of your Apple subscriptions so you have to be more vigilant if you want to continue or not. Recently they had a huge price increase, sent me an email about it over the holidays, charged me for it 10 days later before I saw the email, and I only discovered it on my January credit card statement after the fact. I hadn’t approved any price increase and I hadn’t used the app for many months. I wasn’t planning on continuing. I wasn’t even aware I had a subscription because I manage my subscriptions in the “manage my subscriptions” page for Apple and it doesn’t show up there. Per “sending an email” 10 days in advance, over the holidays being a justifiable method for getting consent (which I never gave), like most people’s email inbox, company emails fall into a sea of promotional spam. Let’s be clear - companies know this and leverage this for their profit. I only realized I had renewed the subscription at the higher price when I saw it on my credit card statement. When I reached out to them that I no longer wanted the app, that I was unaware of the price increase and didn’t approve of it, they said too bad. We sent you an email. Companies don’t try to win your loyalty by being the best. They try to get you on an annual subscription that they hope you’ll forget about. In the case of Asana Rebel, the subscriptions aren’t even through Apple which adds another convenient layer for them to help you forget. I think the new subscription was something like $70.

I never signed up for this program but was charged 128 dollars and 35 dollars for a year of something I’m never going to use. Then I reach out for help and they don’t refund me. Please do not sign up for this learn yoga on YouTube! For free!

This program enables you to start a system right where you are. You could be a beginner and still feel comfortable moving forward. You only have to do 10 minutes in the beginning of your day then you can proceed with a brisk walk or simply stretch afterwards and you’re done. Thank you

I called to cancel my subscription last year. I got charged again this year and they won’t refund it, the same day it was charged.

They might as well be thieves. This app hooks you with a sale price and then does not show up under app subscriptions as all other apps do. They do this on purpose so you won’t know when you will get charged the next year without warning or that your subscription is still active and will refuse to refund your money. This is extremely sneaky and unethical!! Horrible customer service absolutely would not recommend. I barely even used this app.

The program loads very slowly, video lags behind the sound.

Unless you plan to be charged $70 annually for another app you don’t regularly use and one that takes you longer than a workout to cancel- learn from my mistake and don’t sign up.

This app has an automatic renewal configuration. You subscribe to one price and the renewal is doble and they ask just does automatically out from your account. Even though if you don’t use. When you complain they very nicely say “sorry” and enjoy…

I bought the app through the App Store and assumed by subscription was also though Apple. I keep an eye on my subscriptions, knew I did not want to renew Asana Rebel (you can find better videos for free on YouTube) and made sure it was not listed under my active subscriptions a while ago. However, I was unpleasantly surprised to be charged $119 for another year of this app with no reminder email or anything to alert me to the renewal. I reached out to Asana before the charge even posted and they brushed me off completely. Skip this app.

There are so many Instagram ads about workouts for those over 40 and somatic yoga, but it’s almost impossible to find these in the app. The workouts jump from basic to super hard.

I found the app frustrating and difficult to navigate. It’s hard to search through and find new yoga videos. For those reasons I hardly used the app, but I did not pay attention to the renewal date. When I got a notice that I had been charged $120 for an annual membership I emailed immediately, within 6 hrs of having been charged, asking if they could refund me as I do not use the app or wish to continue with it. They refused my request and said they make it very clear when you’re going to be charged, although I never got an email or notification that it was coming up. Disappointing that they would keep someone’s money who isn’t happy with or using the app.

Customer service is awful. They will charge you 4 times for a subscription that you didn’t even know you had and not give any notice or refund. Workouts are too similar and kinda boring. You can find better workouts for free on YouTube. Save money, go somewhere else and remember to cancel subscription, because they will literally charge whatever card you have and then some.

When it came time to renew there was no heads up, just a charge for DOUBLE the amount spelled out in my initial subscription email. I wrote to complain and was given a form letter response that stated that they have had to increase prices and do not give refunds. If you are doubling your annual subscription fee, you must tell your subscribers at some point before renewal. Total scam.
